In a blink of an eye, last year has passed and it’s another New Year. Days go by and come months, then there are years, and the years finally become our whole life. You see, each daily portion can be wasted, or it can be a pleasure, before it is gone forever. You can never look back.. so if a bedtime review of the day concludes that we were too stressed, too busy, didn't accomplish anything, didn't have fun, then it has been another lost piece of precious life.

Perhaps we are putting off our enjoyment until we have more time, or money, or some other improved condition. The trouble with that is that it might never happen or it may be too long in coming. It's so important to accept this time, this very minute, as something of tremendous value that may soon be gone forever. There are many ways to ensure we make the best of our time here on Earth as God only given us one chance.

Last year, one of my very close uncle had passed away. During the funeral, it got me thinking about life, death and our loved ones… Only when one passed away, most of us would regret that we havent been close enough, good enough and spend enough time with the death one.. Regretting over these things are no use.. and it's too late already as one can never turn back the time...

A lot of us seems to always take things for granted before it became too late. We never really make time to spend with those who are the upmost important people in our life. We always try to chase our own success in Life and putting those who’s close to us at side without realizing that without them, success will mean nothing. We should make the best of our time here on Earth.. as none of us can really know if we can still wake up tomorrow morning as we dont really know what's the future holds for us.. We all should cherish our loved ones and our wellbeings as "Life is No guarantee"...

"Be Happy while You're Living, for you're a long time Dead"
- Scottish Proverb-

Taken For Granted

It's funny how when you grow older, you've finally realised some changes in yourself. It's probably not so much of physical changes, but more like emotional changes and the way you behave and think sometimes. I guess most of us have taken our parents for granted all these times, especially during those teenage years where we all were very rebellious towards our parent's advice etc...

Ahh.. those were the days when we just wanted things done our way... no giving in, and i guess when we reflect back, we are quite self-centred back then.
I myself have to admit that I did take everything for granted last time... especially towards the closest people in your life.. your "Mum"...

Not until I got married and lead the life of a married woman, did I realised how much sacrifices (physically, mentally and emotionally) my mother went through in life... not to mention, having to bring the three of us as a single mother. All those nagging in the past we all took it as the Indonesian would call "ah...bawel" ... when it's actually an act of caring and love. Sometimes whether we did it purposely or not.. (sometimes not aware), we would snap at our parents.. and accused them of being too hard on us and not understanding.

Now I understand what my mum had to go through in life and I really appreciates all that she has done for me during all those years up till today... like cooking all my favourite food that I missed soo much.. since I've been away from her (and I mean all my favourite food... she actually went through the trouble of trying to cook all the dishes that I wanted to eat.., how sweet and caring is that?) Well... I hope all you people out there (who reads this blog anyway..) will take my advise and start to learn to "NOT" take your loved one for granted... I know I wont now....

My Lovely Mum -- Loves you a lot Mummy..
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_BAnFNWHkTVI/Ra7fe-cM4SI/AAAAAAAAAAM/GbfljEWLTUU/s200/mummy+%26+I.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5021196357815034146" />

The Mystery Of Life

Life is such a funny journey... full of excitements, adventures, and of course mysteries..
